Berthon Spain is formed on the strength of many years' experience in yacht brokerage and is set to become a major player in the Mediterranean brokerage scene. The office is operated by Simon Turner, who worked for Berthon in Lymington 1980-91 before moving to Spain. Simon subsequently worked for the Nautor Swan agent in Spain until 2002. He was involved with the brokerage sales of Nautor Swans for those 12 years. Working with Simon is another very experienced broker, Dutchman Joost Goverts. Berthon Spain was opened officially in March 2003. Working closely with Berthon in the UK and France, Berthon Spain sells all types of quality sail and power yachts in the 40 ft to 100 ft range. They specialise in the Brokerage sale of the Nautor Swan range of sailing yachts, of which Simon and Joost have a huge knowledge.
